Festive sewing continues...

The poor sewing machine has been working hard for the last few days, making lots of Christmas pump belts to put in my Etsy shop.  I've completely finished a few, which I've already listed in the shop, and I'm now letting the sewing machine have a well-earned rest while I complete the hand-sewing on the rest of them.

It's that time of year again!

No prizes for guessing what I'm making today ...

That's right!  Christmas pump belts are being created at Kaija Sofia this week, and will be available from my Etsy shop very soon.  I'm making them in three sizes:

Size 1 - to fit approximately 17" - 22" waist (43 to 56 cm)
Size 2 - to fit approximately 20" - 30" waist (51 to 77 cm)
Size 3 - to fit approximately 26" - 40" waist (66 to 102 cm)

Watch this space!

Flowers, footballs and twirly skirts.

This beautiful floral pump belt was sent out to an 11-year-old last week.
My son didn't want me to send out this fabulous football belt, with skull print elastic.  He wants one just like it for himself!

I absolutely love this set.  The peasant top has elasticated sleeves and neckline, the matching adjustable insulin pump belt fits the Medronic Veo, the Accuchek Combo and others, and the little skirt (made with a pattern from the fabulous BOO! Designs) twirls beautifully when the little girl wearing it spins.

Two pretty lilac birdy skirts, made using the twirly skirt pattern from BOO! Designs.  These were posted to a special little girl in Australia.

Welcome to my new blog!

Welcome!  I have started a new Facebook page and an Etsy store, selling the insulin pump belts that have proved so popular.

Here are a few examples of the pump belts that I have made for my children and their friends.
